THE EFFECT OF INSTITUTIONAL OWNERSHIP, GENDER DIVERSITY, BOARD SIZE, AND LEVERAGE ON FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE IN CONSUMER NON-CYCLICAL COMPANIES WITHIN THE FOOD & BEVERAGE SUB-SECTOR LISTED ON THE INDONESIA STOCK EXCHANGE FOR THE 2020-2024 PERIOD

Abstract

This study examines the impact of Institutional Ownership, Gender Diversity, Board Size, and Leverage on the Financial Performance of firms within the food and beverage sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2020 to 2024. Adopting a purposive sampling methodology, the study identifies 21 eligible companies for analysis. The research utilizes a secondary quantitative approach, extracting data from audited annual reports. The analytical framework encompasses descriptive statistics, classical assumption diagnostics, and multiple linear regression, with model robustness verified through F-tests and the coefficient of determination (R2) using SPSS version 25 software.
