THE INFLUENCE OF WORK ABILITY, INDIVIDUAL CHARACTERISTICS, AND WORK COMMITMENT ON EMPLOYEE WORK PRODUCTIVITY IN SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES (SMES) SARUNG GOYOR ABAH SHON TEX, PEMALANG REGENCY

Abstract

Work productivity is an important factor in the success of an SME. To achieve good work productivity, several factors are needed that can affect work productivity. The Sarung Goyor Abah Shon Tex SME in Pemalang Regency has problems such as not achieving production targets, which can cause its work productivity to decline. This study uses quantitative research with a multiple linear regression analysis test. The population in this study consists of all 36 employees of the Sarung Goyor Abah Shon Tex SME in Pemalang Regency, and the sample used is a saturated sample. The data collection technique in this study uses. Based on the processing of t-test and F-test data: 1) work ability has a positive effect on employee work productivity in small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the sarung goyor abah shon tex industry in Pemalang Regency. This is evidenced by a significance value of 0.016 < 0.05. 2) Individual characteristics have a positive effect on employee productivity in small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the sarung goyor abah shon tex industry in Pemalang Regency. Proven with a significance value of 0.009 < 0.05. 3) Work commitment has a positive effect on employee productivity in small and medium enterprises (SMEs) producing sarung goyor abah shon tex in Pemalang Regency. Proven by a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. 4) Work ability, individual characteristics, and work commitment simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the work productivity of employees in small and medium enterprises (SMEs) at Sarung Goyor Abah Shon Tex in Pemalang Regency. Proven with a
significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that work ability, individual characteristics, and work commitment influence employee work productivity in the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs)of Sarung Goyor Abah Shon Tex in Pemalang Regency.
