Abstract

profitability, investment returns and operational expenses ion asset igrowth in general
insurance iregistered iwith ithe iFinancial iServices iAuthority. iThe ipopulation in ithis
iresearch is all general insurance companies registered iwith ithe iFinancial iServices
iAuthority ifor ithe i2019-2022 periodi. iThe imethod iused i n ithis research is quantitative
iwith isecondary idata ivia ithe iofficial iwebsite iof ithe iFinancial iServices Authority. The
analytical itool iused in ithis iresearch is imultiple linear iregression ianalysisi. The iresults iof
ithis iresearch ishow ithat i1) premium income ihas ia isignificant positive effect ion iasset
igrowthi. i2) Claims have a isignificant negative effect on asset growth. 3) Profitability has
no significant effect on asset growth. 4) Investment returns have a significant positive
effect on asset growth. 5) Operational Expenses have a isignificant inegative ieffect ion
iasset growthi. i6) Premium income, claimsi, profitabilityi, investment returns iand
ioperational expenses simultaneously influence asset growth.
